A family-run business, Southern Caregivers is a private In-Home Care Agency owned and operated by all Registered Nurses; making us unique from the others. Our owners have the background and experience in medical and non-medical services to be able to provide the most professional care in the industry.


What started as a small, hometown business in 2015, has now grown into 9 locations throughout beautiful Arkansas as of 2024. In addition to our headquarters in Magnolia, we have locations in Hot Springs, Searcy, Texarkana, De Queen, Conway, Jonesboro, Springdale, and Bentonville.

Blake Watson, RN, BSN

Founder/Owner

Blake Watson was born and raised in Magnolia, AR. He attended college at Southern Arkansas University where he received his pre-requisites in nursing. He then graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in 2012.


As of 2024, Blake has 12 years of combined nursing experience in the Emergency Room, ENT, and Family Medicine Clinic. He is happily married to his wife Morgan and has two kids, Owen and Madilynn. Blake enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, and being outdoors.

Morgan Watson, RN, BSN

Owner/Director of Billing

Morgan Watson was born and raised in Magnolia, AR. She attended Southern Arkansas University where she received her prerequisites in nursing. She then graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in 2012.

As of 2024, Morgan has 12 years of combined nursing experience in labor and delivery, nursery, gynecology, pediatric day health care, and nursing management. She is happily married to one of our owners, Blake Watson, and has two beautiful kids, Owen and Madilynn. When not working, Morgan devotes time to Magnolia Junior Charity League, a charitable organization that serves the children of Columbia County. Morgan also enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and doing anything outdoors.

Sam Gummeson, RN, ASN

Co-Owner/Director of Operations

Sam was born and raised in Hope, Arkansas, but has resided in Prescott since 2009 with her husband David and fur babies. Sam attended Texarkana College in 2009 were she received her LPN training and license. In 2015, Sam attended Southern Arkansas University and received her Associate in Science Degree in Nursing. As of 2024, Sam has 15 years of combined nursing experience in various fields such as Personal Care, Home Health, Hospice, Long-Term Care, Mental Health, as well as the operating room, the step-down unit, and med-surge at the hospital. When Sam isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and spending time outdoors preferably on the water somewhere.

Landon Stuart, RN, BSN

Co-Owner/Director of Operations

Landon Stuart was born and raised in Camden, Arkansas and currently lives in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He attended Harding University where he received his pre-requisites. He then obtained his Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Southern Arkansas University in 2014.

As of 2024, Landon has 10 years of nursing experience, all of which were in the operating room . Landon is married to his wife, Sam, and has two sons, Graham and Sawyer, and one daughter, Hollyn. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hunting, playing golf, watching sports and being on the lake. Landon is a big Razorbacks, Cowboys, and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Samantha Stuart

Human Resources Director

Sam spent her formative years in the Jacksonville, Florida area. It was during her time at Harding University that she met her husband and earned her Bachelor's of Science Degree, leading her to Hot Springs, AR. With over 8 years of experience as a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist, Sam transitioned to a full-time role as the Human Resources Director at Southern Caregivers. She is also a proud mother to two boys, Graham and Sawyer, and a girl named Hollyn. Sam finds joy in working alongside her loving husband and finding balance between her professional and family life. As a devoted Christian, she actively participates in the National Park Church community.
